The Connecticut Uniform Trust Code (CT-UTC), effective January 1, 2020, brings significant changes to Connecticut's trust law.  This program will provide an overview of the CT-UTC, highlighting the provisions that will have the greatest impact on trust administration professionals.   The program will also touch on two companion pieces of legislation, the Connecticut Uniform Directed Trust Act and the Connecticut Qualified Dispositions in Trust Act, which will provide corporate fiduciaries with new opportunities for servicing their trust clients.  In addition to providing this important and timely training, attorneys Christiana "Tiana" Gianopulos and Kelley Galica Peck will share their perspectives on the nearly 20-year effort to pass this groundbreaking legislation.
