Alliance of Indiana Rural Water offers training classes for water and wastewater operators, as well as classes for clerk treasurers, utility boards & councils and utility managers.  Unless otherwise specified all classes have been approved or are pending approval for water or wastewater contact hours by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM).  IDEM approved classes meet the Indiana State Board of Engineers criteria for professional development hours (PDHs).

In emergency power situations generators and transfer switches are used to provide a continuous source of power for critical processes by transferring from the normal source of power to an emergency source of power in the event that the normal source voltage falls below preset limits.  This course provides information on the general inspection, operation and maintenance procedures of generators and manual and automatic transfer switches
