PACA Community Descriptions
Advocacy Community
Designed for those interested in state and federal issues and who wish to be the first to know about legislation that could impact industry businesses. Provides the opportunity to participate in events with state and federal policymakers and interact directly with PACA's lobbyist, Hank Butler.
Aggregate Technical Community
Considers all matters such as specifications and uniform quality control for the improvement of aggregate production.
Blasting Community
Reviews current regulations at both State and Federal levels and designs action plans to deal with any new legislation or regulations.
Concrete Promotion Community
Oversees the association’s initiatives in the area of ready mixed concrete promotion in the Commonwealth.
Concrete Technical Community
Considers all matters for the improvement of concrete production such as specifications and uniform quality control.
Environmental Community
Addresses all issues relating to regulatory requirements for the protection of our environment – air, water, land use, noise, etc.
Safety and Health Community
Focuses on new and proposed regulations and legislation pertaining to occupational health/safety and mine health/safety and disseminates information on regulatory compliance and administration of health and safety programs, including training.
Young Leaders Development Community
Designed for PACA member company employees ages 40 and under for the purpose of developing leadership skills, creating lasting relationships among industry peers and encouraging participation in the Association.
