Bio: Mark is the Fire Chief and Director of Emergency Management for the City of Snoqualmie. He has over 25 years in the fire service experience beginning his career in Massachusetts.
He has held numerous positions in the fire service, most recently serving in Southwest Snohomish County as Assistant Chief of Operations for Snohomish County Fire District #1.
Mark resides in North Bend with his Wife Sarah and three kids. He enjoys playing ice hockey, hiking and biking.
Mark has a bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety and Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, paramedic certificate from Springfield (MA) College, and is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program. In 2012, Mark received the Chief Fire Officer designation from the Center for Public Safety Excellence. He is one of nearly 1,000 chief officers to receive this distinguished international credential.
