RESPIRATOR TRAINING AND FIT TESTING

TRAINING SUGGESTION:

Review December in Fire Service Safety Plan.

Review L&I Powerpoint on Supplied Air Respirators.

Members shall be tested at least annually on the knowledge of respiratory protection equipment operation, safety, organizational policies and procedures, and facepiece seals, to the fire department's standard. Such records shall remain part of the member training file.

Give Required Written Test.

Fit Testing using Quantitative means.
