Attendees
will learn about MACRA (Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015)
and the specific roles that patient accounting departments will need to assume
in order to be successful in value-based care. Participants will gain a better
understanding of MACRA, learn the reporting requirements for MIPS (Merit-Based
Incentive Payment System), and explore how the patient accounting roles will be
impacted by value-based care and what these roles can do to prepare for this
change.
