The No-Nonsense Experience

Published: Mar 19, 2021

Event date: 5/6/2021 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Export event

One of the lessons we learned in 2020 is that the time is now (past time actually) to engage in discussions about race and all aspects of diversity, inclusion and bias. This is a conversation that needs to be had in the workplace, in your family and in the community. Many questions exist on the best way to do that, and the No-Nonsense Experience is the answer.

The No-Nonsense Experience (NNE) is a four-part series of discussions on Race, Diversity, Inclusion, and Bias (R.DIBs) led by Dr. James Pogue. In each week’s one hour discussion participants will investigate a different aspect the “Big 8” (Race, Gender, Sexuality, Politics, Age, Ability/Disability, Socioeconomics and Religion).

This experience will provide the structure, content, and time to develop the skills to address these pertinent issues. Utilizing refined questions and conversation prompts along with expert facilitation in small groups, you will increase your comfort and strength around these issues while helping you develop strategies to continue achieving positive change. This will be one of the most dynamic conversations you’ve ever had. Let us help you create the culture you want by having the uncomfortable conversation in the right way!

Outcomes you can expect:

  • Increase your comfort and expertise in conversations about Race and all other aspects of Diversity.
  • Develop ‘muscles’ around your thoughts, intentions, actions and behaviors regarding Diversity, Inclusion and Bias.
  • Build Strategies for change and engagement individually and organizationally.

All conversations will take place at 10:00 am Central for one hour on each Thursday in May.

Your Educational Investment is $325 per participant. Please note, registration is for the full series only, sessions cannot be purchased individually. Deadline to register is April 21.
