LCUL once again proudly collaborates with the Louisiana Bankers Association to present this single day program that is essential to all financial institutions. This session is designed to keep the BSA officer and staff up to date on a wide range of evolving and pertinent BSA topics including:

  • Beneficial Ownership: Where are we and what regulation changes will affect your program?
  • Customer Identification Programs: Issues with online account opening & taking CIP to the virtual world to prevent financial crimes
  • De-Risking high risk members and groups (charities, private ATMs, Non Resident Aliens etc): What does it mean, can it be done and how?
  • SARS and CTRs: Help law enforcement with a razor sharp SAR and take a line-by-line look at the CTR and its changes.
  • Hot Topics Speed Round: Discover what’s top of mind this year!
  • Case Study: Risk assessment, CIP, CDD and EDD on Cannabis

This program is intended for BSA Officers, Internal Auditors, compliance staff responsible for setting BSA policies and procedures.



Deborah Crawford is the president of Gettechnical Inc, a Florida based training company. She brings 30+ years of experience and extensive knowledge to share with attendees on a wealth of topics including deposit and frontline operations, BSA, IRAs, compliance and many other areas of financial institutions. Debbie has been an instrumental training provider for LCUL for many years. She holds both a Bachelor and Master’s degree from Louisiana State University.



$250 per attendee includes course materials. For those applying for an education grant, the value of the food and beverage provided is $40 per person and cannot be deducted from the cost of the program.

Program is eligible for the small credit union Foundation coupon.



This program is an annual collaboration with the LBA at their training facility located at 5555 Bankers Ave in Baton Rouge. LCUL is not holding a hotel block for this event but does recommend many nearby hotels including Marriott Baton Rouge, Embassy Suites, and Doubletree which are all within 5-10 minutes away.
