Police are investigating a fire that appears to have been intentionally set at a church in South Seattle Tuesday morning.
A priest with the Ethiopian Orthodox church on Martin Luther King Way near Holly Street said the church's fire alarm went off around 7:30 a.m. He investigated to find a scarf on their front door that was on fire.

Come next week, Eastside Fire and Rescue will officially have a new fire chief.
Jeff Clark, of Chandler, Arizona, will take the oath of office next week at the Eastside Fire board meeting Feb. 11 at 4 p.m.
Eastside Fire and Rescue serves the communities of Issaquah, Sammamish, North Bend, King County Fire Districts 10 and 38.
