Utility Worker - Town of Reynolds

The job of Utilities Worker involves a fair amount of both physical and mental labor. To perform these duties and give the town its best quality performance, one must know basic math skills, including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percent calculation, and more. One must have a general knowledge of chemistry, and the position also demands manual labor consisting of both indoor and outdoor activities, such as repairing main line breaks and stoppages, in either winter or summer, mounting and dismounting the snow plow and/or salt spreader, transferring of salt piles, driving the dump truck for snow removal, hauling and dumping gravel, black topping, and more. Some jobs can be strenuous and require a good deal of physical strength. Due to unknown emergencies one will be expected to report to work on any day or time of day.
