New Roller Compacted Concrete Project Profiles Available

PACA is pleased to announce that three new Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) profiles have been developed. The three projects represent three markets to which the association promotes RCC. Those are industrial, commercial, and streets and local roads.

Concrete Recognition Award Winners Named at Annual Meeting

This year’s Concrete Recognition Awards program saw PACA members submit a total of 12 projects for review. This is the second highest total since this program was established. Those companies submitting projects included: Central Builders Supply, Delaware Valley Concrete, New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Pennsy Supply, and Rock Hill Concrete. The final winners were recognized during a ceremony at the PACA Annual Meeting in Hershey.

Forward Your Phase II ASR Results to PennDOT in Harrisburg - PACA Members Supply Concrete for ASR Field Projects

As part of the Phase II ASR testing program, there are over 170 aggregate sources currently being tested by four independent laboratories. The one-year results for these samples are almost completed. PennDOT Laboratory Testing Services (LTS) asks that you please forward these results to them as soon as you receive them.

PennDOT eProcurement Access to Change in 2017

PennDOT has announced that it will be upgrading its eProcurement system and the changes will go live in early 2017. As part of these new upgrades, a new process for accessing the system will be used. Although access for current users will not change for the moment, there are steps that one must take to be able to access the new system in 2017 by NOVEMBER 30, 2016.

EPA Civil Penalties Are Increasing
