New hospital pricing transparency requirements will be implemented beginning January 1, 2021. Due largely to the pandemic, many hospitals delayed their internal efforts towards the compliance date in hopes that a delay in implementation or enforcement would be offered. A delay has not been provided and many hospitals now worry they cannot meet the compliance deadline.
