The Home Care Workforce Action Alliance (HCWA) is dedicated to raising public and policymaker awareness around home care workforce issues.

The HCWA conducted its kickoff on May 18 with the support of Bill Dombi, president of the National Association for Home Care & Hospice, Vicki Hoak, executive director of the Home Care Association of America, and David Totaro, chief government affairs office at BAYADA Home Health Care Inc.

HCWA is made up of the nation’s leading home care associations and their members.

HCWA is focused on the following issues, but needs your input on where to prioritize its time and efforts:

  • Frontline Caregiver Shortages
  • Compensation Issues
  • Training Issues
  • Professional Perception
  • Impact on Families

In-home care is at a critical point in time and is an issue that can affect all American families. To help solve this crisis, we need your participation, your voice, and your stories.

Please help us amplify this issue by sharing your story with us through the Voices For Care at Home campaign: Share Your Story
