Volunteer Opportunities 

There are numerous opportunities to volunteer and serve the Nebraska Association For Home Healthcare & Hospice. This most often occurs through committees or volunteer projects. Current association committees include:


Agency/Technology/Development Research Committee

The Nebraska Association For Home Healthcare & Hospice Agency/Technology/Development/Research Committee leads efforts to provide technology and resources for association members. Areas of focus will include oversight in ensuring that members have access to tools and information to enhance their professional development, network, and remain apprised of issues impacting home health.


Government Affairs/Reimbursement Committee

The association Government Affairs/Reimbursement Committee leads efforts to advocate for members' interests and positively influence public policy efforts on behalf of members at the local, state and federal levels.

Nebraska Association For Home Healthcare & Hospice Medicaid Task Group

The Medicaid Task Group works to address and resolve common concerns impacting the home health industry, NAHCHA members, and Nebraska Medicaid clients served by home health agencies, identify possible solutions and offer recommendations to the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The task group also regularly discusses changes in regulations and processes that affect home health care and offer constructive comments to DHHS.

The Program/Education Committee will focus on developing and offering educational events and programs to support the professional development needs of association members.
