Public Works Laborer (Water/Roads) - The Town of Clinton (Hunterdon County) is seeking multiple FT and/or PT individuals to assist in with operation, maintenance and repair within the Department of Public Works, Division of Water and Roads. Under supervision, the successful applicants will perform, including but not limited to facility maintenance, repair roads and storm, water basins, mow lawns, snow plowing, install, maintain, and repair water mains, valves, pumps, hydrants, and other water service equipment, as well as reading water meters, and any other duties as assigned.  Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and have clean driving history (CDL is a plus).  A minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent), as well as the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform duties of this position is required.  Knowledge and experience with the varieties types of tools used in maintenance and repair of water treatment equipment, road maintenance equipment and facility/grounds maintenance is preferred.  This position requires the applicant to be available to work 24 hours a day, seven days per week as the need arises.  Union position with staring salary of $18.85 - $19.84/hour depending on CDL status. Under the general direction of the Asset and Auxiliary Systems Manager , the Information Technician/GIS Operator is responsible for/to:

Under supervision, monitor and operate the functions associated with the asset management and operations division software tools and communications device inventory and processes. With support from internal and external IT/ Asset Management/ GIS professionals, perform GIS work relating to the geographic analysis of environmental parameters and/ or other factors, image processing, interpretation, and application of remote sensing data; perform geographic data digitizing; operate all computer hardware and software associated with the Geographic Information System. 1.    Education

The Executive Director is responsible for the general overall supervision and direction of all functions of the Hamilton Township Municipal Utilities Authority and shall act as the HTMUA's Chief Executive and Administrative Officer, and implement all orders, resolutions and policies developed and adopted by the Board Members of the Authority as well as the planning, directing, and coordinating the maintenance and operations of the HTMUA’s systems and contract operations.
The HTMUA is a public utility that provides public water and sewer service for residents and businesses within a 25 square mile designated service area of Hamilton Township.
