Lake Charles Young Professionals Volunteer at Waters Edge Homeless Outreach Shelter

Young Professionals from Southwest Louisiana Credit Union and CSE Federal Credit Union, along with additional credit union staff, joined forces on April 15th to support the greater good of the Southwest Louisiana community. Makeitta Citizen of SWLACU & Kyle Witt of CSE worked together to pull their teams together in just 4 short days! The team of LCUL young professionals worked alongside other community volunteers at the Waters Edge Homeless Outreach Program to provide over 800 bags of food, toiletries, and fun treats for kids to approximately 400 families. They also presented a large peanut butter donation that was collected by the young professionals as part of the 2021 LCUL YPN Workshop service project.
