HR Resources and the Families First Coronavirus Response Act: Effective April 1, 2020

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or Act) requires certain employers to provide their employees with paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. These provisions will apply from April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.

Check the Wage and Hour Division's website or sign up for Key Alerts to ensure that you remain current with all notice requirements.

Financial Assistance for Credit Unions

In response to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, the Louisiana Credit Union Foundation is implementing a new program to assist credit unions through this difficult time. Grants up to $1,500 are available to help small credit unions (up to $25 million in assets) to offset unexpected COVID-related expenses.
