BRECO FCU is pleased to announce its 2021 scholarship
recipients, Carly Sonnier and Treveon Williams, who each received a $1,000
award.
Both of these students exemplified exceptional
scholastic achievements, as well as outstanding community service. Carly is a graduate of Lacassine High School
and will be pursuing studies in drafting, with the hopes of helping individuals
and companies design and rebuild stronger communities after devastating
storms. Treveon is a graduate of Madison
Preparatory Academy and will be pursuing studies in forensic nursing, with the
hopes of treating those affected by trauma and abusive acts. “We could not be more proud of this year’s
scholarship recipients,” said Joshua Poole, CEO of BRECO. “They will no doubt change the world and
bless the lives of countless people.”
Each year, BRECO FCU awards two $1,000 scholarships to
graduating seniors who exemplify the mission of creating a better world and
“changing lives one dream at a time.”
Congratulations Carly and Treveon!
