On October 11th, Ascension Credit Union closed for Columbus Day and took their staff out for a Staff Appreciation Day. The team visited Atchafalaya Basin Landing Airboat Swamp Tours in St. Martin Parish for a peaceful outdoor adventure. The airboat tour was about two hours and featured a few alligator sightings and lessons on the Atchafalaya Basin’s history. After the tour, ACU gifted each member of the team with a gift of their choice from the onsite gift shop.
Atchafalaya Basin Landing Airboat Swamp Tours has one of the largest airboat tour fleets in South Louisiana, and the largest of any Atchafalaya Basin swamp tour company.
Following the field trip, the staff stopped by Bon Temps Grill, known for its cajun-style cooking, in Lafayette for lunch.
