La Capitol president and CEO Michael Hooper was elected Board President of the Better Business Bureau of South Central Louisiana during the board’s December meeting.
The Better Business Bureau of South Central Louisiana serves Baton Rouge and the surrounding parishes — Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, St. James, Tangipahoa, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana Parishes.
La Cap has been accredited by the BBB since 1986.
“La Cap supports transparent and ethical business dealings and has been a long-time member of the BBB,” Hooper said. “I have served on the Board for several years and look forward to serving as Board President.”
