Bio: Hank has been in the fire service since 1978 and started his career with the Long Beach Fire Department in California. Hank was promoted through the ranks and left Long Beach Fire Department as a Deputy Fire Chief to become the Fire Chief of Bainbridge Island in 2007.
Hank serves as Washington Fire Chiefs representative to the State Building Code Council and the liaison to the Washington State Association of Fire Marshals. Hank has an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science, a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University of Long Beach and a Master’s Degree (EMPA) from the University of Washington in Public Administration.
