Kim Holts, Terry Engelson Scholarship

To all that have fallen before us The WFC Fire Mechanics Section presents the Kim Holts, Terry Engelson Scholarship award.

Each year the WFC Fire Mechanics Section awards two scholarships, and often is able to award a Vendor Sponsored  scholarship. This year Hughes fire is  sponsoring the Vendor sponsored scholarship.

Scholarship will include registration and Room & Board for the recipient to attend the Fire Mechanics Conference September 14-18 2020 Wentachee Convention Center.    

All scholarship applications must be received by August 7, 2020 to be considered.

These two annual scholarships in memory of those that have fallen before us are intended for fire service personnel of both public and/or private organizations who normally could not attend due to budgetary constraints. This includes personnel pursuing either mechanical or suppression related careers in the Emergency Services field. All scholarship applications will be reviewed and awarded on a year to year basis by the WFM Board based on submitted applications. Awarded Scholarships are for tuition, room and board. Applications will be awarded one month prior to the WFM Annual Conference of each year. Applications need to be submitted by August 7th of each year to be considered for the annual scholarship.
