INNOMOTIVE Solutions Group Acquires Fire and Marine (FMI)

INNOMOTIVE Solutions Group (ISG), parent company of AMDOR, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Fire and Marine, Incorporated (FMI) of Springfield, Ohio.

Founded in 2007, FMI delivers fully customized compartment management solutions and contract manufactured components for fire apparatus and emergency response vehicles. The FMI team has developed strong relationships with OEMs, municipalities, and first responders across the U.S. FMI will run as a stand-alone entity operated by founders Terry Albert, Dennis Summers, and Daryl Summers.

FMI’s recently expanded 100,000 square foot facility will see significant investments from ISG involving new hires, information technology, administration, and the full support of AMDOR’s dedicated U.S. and Canadian Sales and Marketing team. The co-founders of FMI have wrapped up their thoughts on the deal in one word: “Epic!”

ISG has always prided itself on delivering products designed by engineers, not accountants. FMI’s philosophy and people-first culture are powerful additions to our integrated product lines. The team at FMI is a great match for our organizational mission, business environment, and ongoing commitment to creating safer vehicle access solutions.

“I want to thank and welcome the entire FMI team. The combination of our two organizations further strengthens our pursuit to be known as the best design partner and engineered access solutions manufacturer to specialized vehicle markets.” Bruce Whitehouse, President, INNOMOTIVE Solutions Group.

INNOMOTIVE Solutions Group, Amdor, and FMI serve the fire industry, trucking industry, and other transit/OEM industries requiring custom solutions for doors, compartments, LED lighting, and other specialized access solutions designed for optimal performance and end-user safety.
