Pascagoula (MS) Gets Fire Equipment with Grant

Training Chief Jon Hyatt has been involved in grant writing for several years and says they’re purchasing spreaders, cutters, and Jaws of Life. “Which is going to allow us to get to patients faster in a car wreck. It will allow us to instead of having to deploy traditional equipment, they are battery powered so instead of hooking up to a generator and hoses and what not, which takes time, we can just go straight to work.”

Midwest Fire Launches New Website with Upgraded Spec Tool

Midwest Fire

Midwest Fire Equipment and Repair Company (Midwest Fire) announced its launch of a remodeled website and expanded apparatus specification tool, “Create-A-Spec,” that helps customers easily develop the specifications for an apparatus that will suit their department’s needs. Customers can now complete a specification form of customizable options and features. Upon completion, users will receive a PDF document of the apparatus spec-sheet via email and a call from a Midwest Fire representative for additional assistance. This tool is obligation-free.

“We know how overwhelming and cumbersome spec’ing a new fire truck can be for departments,” said Midwest Fire CEO and President Sarah Atchison.  “This is just another way we have made improvements to make the procurement process easier for our customers, offering them a place to hash out the details and take the first step in customizing their next apparatus. We hope the improved visual and functional aspects of our website, along with the upgraded Create-A-Spec creates a better overall experience for those we serve.”

In addition to Create-A-Spec, the new website features CAD drawings and measurements of each apparatus. Visitors can also find blog posts, video media, and an extensive log of previous deliveries with locator function to see Midwest Fire trucks nearby. Customers whose trucks are under construction have access to progress reports including photos and details of the build status.

For more information, please go to MidwestFire.com or visit FDIC International 2019 booth #3437. Midwest Fire will have their All-Poly® Series Pumper and Brush Truck on display.
