Ladder Truck Donated to Barnstable County Fire & Rescue Training Academy

HYANNIS - The Town of Hanover has donated a 110-foot aerial ladder truck to the Barnstable County Fire & Rescue Training Academy. At a short ceremony at the Academy on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, Hanover acting Town Manager Tony Marino and Fire Chief Jeff Blanchard handed over the title to Barnstable County Commissioner and Chairman Leo Cakounes.

New fire station coming to Gadsden County

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)- Quincy residents can soon expect quicker response times thanks to an incoming new fire station. This new fire station would complete the fire coverage in Gadsden County, meaning there will no longer be any areas without a nearby fire station. The groundbreaking took place Thursday afternoon on Salem Road.
