Ashland (TN) City Council Approves Bid for Training Facility

The Ashland City Council unanimously approved a bid to construct a mobile training facility at its meeting Tuesday. Warehouse on Wheels was awarded the bid at $649,350, which Ashland City Fire Chief Chuck Walker said was in line with his expectation. The council voted in June to accept a regional FEMA Department of Homeland Security grant, which totals $650,000.

Chaska (MN) Fire Department Given Grant for Fire Equipment

The Chaska Fire Department was one of six volunteer fire departments in Minnesota that received a grant from RDO Equipment Co. Grants awarded to Minnesota fire departments will be used to address various needs, including the purchase of new gear and specialty equipment, according to a press release.
