Live AFG FY17 Application Webinars

Beginning on Tuesday, December 26th 1:30 PM ET, FEMA will host a series of live Adobe Connect webinars. These webinars will provide applicants with an understanding of the FY 2017 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program, the grant process, and how to complete the application.  AFG staff recommends that you review the Notice of Funding Opportunity prior to participating in the webinars to help make the application process easier.  

Currently Scheduled Topics: 

AFG National Workshop Webinar will cover the program details for the FY 2017 AFG program. The webinar will include information such as how to apply, what is eligible, and the application review process. This presentation does not include an application walkthrough.

 

AFG APPLICATION WALKTHROUGH webinars will cover every section of the application. A webinar for each applicant type is scheduled as indicated below. FEMA Fire Program Specialists will be available to answer your questions.

Webinar sessions will be broadcast using an Adobe Connect webinar link with call-in phone number for audio transmission. We suggest that you save this link to your browser's favorites. 

The Adobe Connect webinar can be found at https://fema.connectsolutions.com/appwalkthrough/. To access the webinar follow these steps: 

1. Click on the webinar link 

2. Select “enter as a guest” and provide your name and your department’s name. Click on enter the room 

3. Agree to the terms of the Adobe Connect system, Click on “OK”
