Mission Statement

The objectives of this Division shall be to further enhance the education of all Fire Service Administrative Support by conducting workshops and seminars; to increase the proficiency of Fire Administrative Support by establishing a network sharing of information systems through various channels of communication; and to faciliate a statewide standardization wherever possible in all phases and aspects of the Fire Administrative Support field for the benefit of the Fire Service.

PHOTOS: Massive flames could be seen shooting from an abandoned Cleveland church early Thursday morning. The building was fully engulfed as SkyFOX was over the scene shortly before 7:30 a.m. The church, located near the corner of E. 91st Street and Miles Park, has been identified as the former Pentecostal Determine Church of God.

A fake firefighter with a garden hose refused to leave the scene of a deadly blaze in North Carolina, officials told news outlets. Early March 27, the Morganton Department of Public Safety said its crews were called to the fire and spotted a 37-year-old man wearing a New York City Fire Department outfit.

PHOTOS: A three-alarm church fire near Love Field Airport temporarily closed runways Tuesday afternoon. Dallas Fire-Rescue crews were called to a fire at Iglesia Adventista Church on Denton Ave. around 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. Crews began fighting the fire from inside, but "the situation quickly escalated and fire began to come through the roof.

VIDEO: In Tulsa, Oklahoma State University held a demonstration to show how they're working to get more drones and robots in the hands of first responders. In the scenario, a drone flew donated blood from a local hospital to a simulated crash scene. A robotic dog from the University of Tulsa picked up the donation and delivered it to a Tulsa Firefighter to give to a patient in the simulated crash scene.

VIDEO: San Francisco could be the first city in the nation to ban a common type of firefighter uniform found to emit cancer-causing chemicals. The US Coast Guard has suspended search and rescue efforts for six people who were on the Francis Scott Key Bridge when it collapsed early Tuesday following a major cargo boat collision. Recovery efforts are now underway for the missing people, who are presumed dead. A team from with the National Transportation Safety Board went aboard the ship late Tuesday night to gather evidence for their investigation, agency Chair Jennifer Homendy told CNN on Wednesday.

The Francis Scott Key Bridge has collapsed into the water after a large ship collided with it. Baltimore City police say they were notified of a partial bridge collapse with workers possibly in the water, at 1:35 Tuesday morning. MDTA says all lanes are closed in both directions. Traffic is being detoured.

VIDEO: Tuesday marks 10 years since a deadly Back Bay fire claimed the lives of two Boston firefighters. Lt. Edward Walsh and firefighter Michael Kennedy were killed while fighting a wind-fueled, nine-alarm fire at 298 Beacon St. on March 26, 2014. The two men went inside after they were told someone might be trapped in the basement, then became trapped themselves.
