Point Pleasant (WV) Volunteer Fire Department Gets First New Truck in 10 Years

For the first time in 10 years, the Point Pleasant (WV) Volunteer Fire Department has added a new truck to its fleet, reports wsaz.com.

The new apparatus’ predecessor is more than 20 years old.

Perryville (KY) to Get New Truck

Perryville (KY) city council recently voted to buy a new fire truck, with a bid of $303,549.39, reports amnews.com. The winning bidder was Toyne Inc., through local dealer High Tech Rescue, officials say.

Perryville’s current apparatus is 21 years old and has recently experienced maintenance issues.
