Emergency Reporting and Aladtec, Inc. Announce Roster Integration

April 9, 2019, Bellingham, WA - Emergency Reporting (ER), the easiest-to-use cloud-based reporting and records management software for Fire and EMS agencies, announced a new integration with Aladtec, the premier scheduling and workforce management software for public safety agencies. With this integration, Aladtec schedules will automatically feed into Emergency Reporting Daily Rosters, eliminating the mundane, error-prone time Fire and EMS personnel spend duplicating roster data. Fire and EMS agencies use Aladtec to streamline schedule processes, including complex rotations, trades, sign ups, and time off, and when the schedule changes as a result, with this new integration, Aladtec will seamlessly update Emergency Reporting’s Daily Roster. Aladtec, a cloud-based online system, is available 24/7/365 from any computer or mobile device via the internet.

“The Emergency Reporting platform is developed for first responders in the fire and EMS service. We offer integrations with multiple companies to help make our customers’ lives easier. Aladtec is our newest addition to the partner community, and we are happy to be able to serve our mutual customers even better with this integration,” stated Dave Adams, Chief Revenue Officer and Co-founder of Emergency Reporting.

“The efficiency improvements with this new integration are substantial," stated Dave Feyereisen, president and founder of Aladtec Inc. "Like Emergency Reporting, Aladtec is dedicated to the concept of interoperability. We intend to integrate Aladtec with a wide spectrum of applications, but when it came to decide which to build first, the choice was easy -- Emergency Reporting."

Milton (GA) Welcomes Newest Fire Apparatus

The Department acquired the new Pierce Enforcer Pumper as part of their overall fleet plan, which was designed to serve the current and future needs of the community. The new pumper will take the place of one of the 2007 engines as a front-line emergency response vehicle. The new engine, which will become the primary response for Station 41, cost $571,000. The engine it is replacing will be auctioned and the city anticipates recouping about $100,000.

This is the first of three new engines the department is purchasing to replace those original to the department, which began in 2007. The two additional "sister trucks" are set to arrive in Milton in the fall. Once they do, one of the original fleet engines will be auctioned, and the other will become a legacy unit and put into reserve status in case of an emergency.

Lafayette (CA) Fire Station to Reopen After Multi-Year Closure

The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District will reopen its Station 16 about six years after it and four other district stations were closed in 2013 during lean financial times, largely the result of diminished property tax revenues (a temporary $75 parcel tax to fund the fire district was rejected by voters in 2012).

The newly refurbished station, where the old station was, is on Los Arabis Drive north of Highway 24 off Happy Valley Road.

That heavily wooded area is densely developed with single-family homes on often narrow and/or winding streets, and residents there in the past have said having a fire station nearby is crucial for safety. Until the new station opens, the Station 16 crew is working out of the district’s Station 15, on the east end of Lafayette near the Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa.
