With 35 volunteers and two career members, the Enfield Volunteer Fire Department in Nova Scotia covers about 350 calls a year and serves a population of about 6,500. During this third-alarm fire in Lower Providence Township (PA), units had to switch from a municipal water system to a tanker shuttle operation because the level of the tanks that supply the hydrant system dropped to a level that was too low. This video shows the tankers responding to and from the fire scene of the fire and the fill site in Collegeville Borough, Montgomery County Pennsylvania, a six-mile round trip.
