TRIGEN Automotive Rolls Out the Medical Support Vehicle for the Singapore Civil Defence Force At Workplan 2019

TRIGEN Automotive, a  manufacturer of special function vehicles and robotics solutions for emergency services worldwide has debuted the Medical Support Vehicle (MSV). As the company’s latest emergency support vehicle, the MSV evolved to address the need to attend to a mass number of casualties during a major incident. This custom-made vehicle integrates medical intervention, storing of various equipment provisions and was also designed to suit bariatric patients who require specialized equipment.

With a  white and blue exterior, the MSV is able to transport three crew members in the front and six in the rear to assist during emergencies. Apart from carrying multiple medical kits for resuscitation and light surgery out in the field, the 2019 configuration now allows the user to forward-deploy the medical shelter from the vehicle in situations where the vehicle has no access to. In just 10 minutes, the shelter can be deployed with eight medical beds laid out with dedicated resuscitation units and trauma kit bags. Portable generators are housed in the lower compartments of the vehicle which allow flexibility of deployment of the medical shelter.

Chugwater (WY) Receives New Fire Apparatus

The 2008 truck comes from Roswell, N.M. When it came up to be replaced, the BLM jumped at the chance to send it to Platte County.  “We have just two fire stations servicing ten counties – just in the high plains area,” relayed BLM High Plains Fire Management Office Kirk Strom. “We are very rarely the first to arrive to the fires and we are dependent on our cooperators to take the initial response. We are trying to help them help us. Platte County has always been a reliable and responsive partner.”  The Rural Fire Readiness program allows the BLM to supply modern firefighting equipment available to rural departments that help fight fires in the county. The type-4 engine has a large water reservoir and high clearance making it ideal for the remote, rural land the Chugwater Fire Department covers and protects. It has been serviced to guarantee it is ready to jump into action when needed.  Chugwater Fire Chief, Tim Ash, is pleased to the new addition to the current four truck fleet.
