New Agawam (MA) Fire Trucks To Be Blessed At Dec. 12 Ceremony

Two new, shiny red fire engines are delivered and ready to serve the people of Agawam, but one detail remains -- the trucks must be ceremoniously blessed by the fire department's chaplain. The public is invited to Agawam Fire Headquarters on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m.

4 Ontario (CA) Firefighters Injured In Crash On 15 Freeway

Four firefighters were injured Thursday morning when a car spun out and struck their fire engine while they were at the scene of a previous multi-vehicle crash, officials said. According to the Ontario Fire Department, the second collision happened shortly before 10 a.m. on the 15 Freeway near the 10 Freeway interchange.

New Fire Station Coming To Beckley (WV)

The City of Beckley will soon have a new fire station. The current station on Eisenhower Drive will be relocated to Ragland Road. This comes after the city bought two acres of land along Ragland Road near Eisenhower Drive to build a new station.

HME Delivers MiniEvo to Vermont Fire Department

The Bolton (VT) Fire Department has taken delivery of an HME Ahrens-Fox MiniEvo. Built on a Ford F-550 Chassis with a 4x4 SD Crew Cab XLT, the new vehicle features a Hale DSD 1,500-gpm pump, 300-gallon water tank, and a 15-gallon FRC direct-injection Class A Foam System. The truck is powered by a Powerstroke 6.7-liter V* engine rated at 330 hp.
