Foundation helps put AEDs in fire trucks

Lauren Henry, executive director of the Wayne Hospital Foundation, said the Foundation is able to provide the AEDs at a reduced cost to non-profit agencies through their partnership with Midmark and Spirit Medical Transport. Greenville Rotary also provides funds for the program. The Foundation and its partners pay for two-thirds of the cost and the receiving non-profit pays the other third. Spirit Medical then offers the AED training at no cost to the recipients.

Not only do the non-profits, like Liberty Township Fire, receive the AEDs, the Foundation provides a maintenance program to help replace batteries and pads at a much reduced cost.

Menlo Park FD's Thermal Imaging Drones Flying to Fire Zone

Carr Fire became the sixth most destructive fire in recorded California history after it destroyed over 1,000 homes and hundreds of other structures in Northern California.

The Menlo Park Fire Department was one of the first fire departments to adopt drone technology back in 2014. It also used the drones to document the deadly October 2017 Tubbs Fire.
