An ambulance carrying a patient crashed into a tanker truck and flipped on its side in Stafford County Tuesday morning, sending the patient and members of the ambulance crew to the hospital, according to authorities.

Wyoming Fire Department Buys Fire Equipment with Grant

After partnering with the Metro Health Hospital Foundation, the City of Wyoming Fire Department has purchased new emergency medical response equipment. A $44,100 Foundation grant was used to buy three Zoll compression devices. The devices provide automated cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to victims. City of Wyoming firefighters are trained and equipped as Emergency Medical Technicians.

A recently completed consultant review will serve as a guide for the future of the Fire Department, and recommendations could lead to the relocation or renovation of multiple stations in town.

Duluth (MN) Fire Station Home to Nearly Century of History

The City of Duluth is home to eight fire stations. Some of those are nearly 100 years old. That includes Station 10 in Gary New Duluth. It was built in 1927 and was first occupied in 1928. Originally, the building housed both the fire department and police department, along with a library and community center.
