Memphis Police: Driver Refused to Yield to Ambulance, Causing Accident

Two people sustained minor injuries after a driver reportedly refused to yield to an EMHC ambulance. The accident happened at Poplar Avenue and Cleveland in Midtown. "A lot of drivers don't understand it. They understand how to drive, but they don't understand the law out here," driver Warren Denton said.

New Fire Apparatus Added to Proposed Geneva (IL) Budget

The proposed 2018-19 Geneva budget has gotten a major update because the city can now count on extra money from an increase in the sales tax it charges. City Administrator Stephanie Dawkins told aldermen Monday that the proposed budget now includes $1.97 million in spending on capital equipment.

PL Custom Adds C.W. Williams & Co. (CWW) to Its Growing Family of Distributors

Manasquan, NJ—P.L. Custom Body and Equipment Co., Inc. (PLCB) is pleased to announce the addition of C.W. Williams & Co. (CWW) to its growing family of distributors. CWW will be providing sales and service to emergency services providers in the States of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. In addition to providing sales and service for PL Custom Emergency Vehicles and Rescue 1, CWW will be able to provide remounting and specialty conversions through PLCB as well.

Field and inside sales representatives promote Rosenbauer America fire trucks and key equipment suppliers such as Fire Dex, Honeywell, Bullard, and Amkus.
