PA Firefighter Faces DUI Charges After Fire Truck Crash

The Herald reported on a case in which a West Middlesex (PA) firefighter is facing charges after allegedly driving a fire vehicle while intoxicated.

Curtis Allen Cottrill, 30, was reportedly placed under arrest for driving under the influence after law enforcement officers responded to a call regarding a disabled West Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department fire truck.

Virginia Fire Station Catches Fire; Firetruck Destroyed

Fairfax County, Virginia, firefighters had to battle a blaze inside their own station early Sunday morning.


The fire spread to the roof of the station, and a second alarm was called for additional crews.

It took about 45 minutes to get the fire under control. There were no injuries and no impact for service in the community.
