Trenton to the rescue after Middletown's ambulance fleet is...

Staff Writer MIDDLETOWN - It's good to have neighbors who help you in a pinch - with a cup of sugar for that cake, or an emergency ambulance you can use to save residents' lives. Trenton recently stepped up for Middletown with the ambulance, as Middletown did for Trenton in a similar situation years ago.

HOUSTON - Police are looking for clues as to why someone stole an ambulance and crashed it into a tree near Brays Bayou early Friday. According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded at 3 a.m. to a call of an ambulance crash into a tree at S. Braeswood and S.

D123 Students Win Ride to School In Fire Truck

Laurin Jacobs, of Sward Elementary School, and Emmett Broderick, of Kolmar Elementary School, were each awarded a ride to school on fire truck. The youngsters won their rides with their winning entries in the Oak Lawn Fire Prevention contest.

D'Iberville donates another fire truck - this one to Diamondhead

D'IBERVILLE was able to buy two new fire pumpers this year, thanks in part to revenue generated by the new Scarlet Pearl Casino, and on Thursday Chief Gerald Smith donated one of the trucks being replaced to the Diamondhead Fire Department.
