3×3 foam concentrate to achieve a full complement of hardware and sprinkler listings, including UL-listed non-aspirated sprinklers.

Clayton, MO 11 October 2022 – Perimeter Solutions (NYSE: PRM), a leading global manufacturer of high-quality firefighting products and lubricant additives, announced today the launch of SOLBERG® RE-HEALING™ 3×3 SP-100 Fluorine-Free Foam Concentrate. With the UL-162 listing granted, the newest addition to Perimeter Solutions’ catalog of fluorine-free firefighting foam concentrates is the industry’s first UL-listed fluorine-free 3×3 foam concentrate with the full complement of hardware and sprinkler listings, including non-aspirated, standard sprinkler heads.

“This is an exciting breakthrough for the fire safety industry,” says Craig McDonnell, General Manager of Fire Suppression for the Americas at Perimeter Solutions. “SOLBERG RE-HEALING 3×3 SP-100 contains cutting-edge technology and is designed for sprinkler applications to extinguish and secure both Class B [hydrocarbon fuel and polar solvent fuel] and deep-seated Class A fires. Silverthorne (CO) to Consider Adding Fire Station

The Silverthorne Town Council will hear from local fire leaders about possibly adding a fire station in town in response to growing calls from the public about safety concerns, SummitDaily.com reported.

On Wednesday, October 12, at 6 p.m., Town Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at Town Hall, 601 Center Circle. During that meeting, fire officials are scheduled to give an update on Insurance Services Office ratings and planning for the town’s fire station, the report said.

Currently, emergency services calls made in Silverthorne and north of town are responded to by firefighters and EMTs at the fire station in Dillon, the report said. Summit Fire & EMS operates four fully-staffed stations located in Dillon, Keystone, Frisco and Copper Mountain.

At a meeting last month, some Silverthorne community members expressed concerns during public comment about the response times of emergency services, especially during times of traffic congestion near Interstate 70, the report said.

At that meeting, Town Council members expressed that having a fire station within town limits is still a high priority, according to the report.

Corning (CA) VFD Looks to Add New Engine to Fleet

The Corning (CA) City Council will discuss Tuesday whether it should approve the Volunteer Fire Department’s request to add a 2006 International Harvester 4×2 Fire Engine to its fleet, RedBluffDailyNews.com reported.

This engine is part of the Federal Surplus Program and was acquired from the U.S. Forest Service. Since the engine’s color is green, the fire department has a year to paint it red, the report said.

The city staff said they are working on scheduling a date for volunteers to travel to Los Angeles County to get the engine and drive it to Corning, the report said.

The volunteers will pay the cost to paint and fully equip the engine with minimal cost to the city, according to the report.
