E-ONE® Receives Order from The City Of Varennes, Quebec for Fully Electric Vector™ Rescue Decon Truck

OCALA, FL June 28, 2022 –E-ONE®, a subsidiary of REV Group, Inc. (NYSE: REVG), announces it is building an all-electric Vector Rescue Decon truck for the City of Varennes Fire Safety Service in Quebec; the first Rescue truck using the first fully electric North America- style fire truck design.

This Vector order, which will become one of the initial EV fire trucks in operation in Canada, came from the City of Varennes. REV Fire Group introduced its EV firetruck in August 2021, which utilizes 316 kilowatts of proven automotive grade batteries, and can be customized to accommodate specialized fire ground duties such as air support and decontamination of firefighters to remove carcinogens from gear after fighting structure fires.

Pulaski (IL) Volunteer Fire Department Receives Helping Hands After Losing Only Engine, Equipment

After losing its only engine and all its equipment to a fire, the Pulaski Volunteer Fire Department is receiving help from surrounding departments, reports kfvs12.com.

The apparatus was burnt to the frame, and the department needs boots, gloves, and is in the process of receiving helmets from the Herrin and Hurst fire departments, the report says.

The Olmsted Fire Department also helped out with a couple sets of bunker gear and a few sets of boots—anything they could do to help, officials say.

Pulaski officials say the department has received calls from as far as St. Louis (MO) and Chicago.

Perryville (MO) to Break Ground on New Station July 7

Perryville will hold a ground-breaking ceremony July 7 for the fire department’s new station, which will be located on Rand Street.

Festivities will begin 9 a.m. with a rainout date of July 14 at the same time.
