Three Laredo (TX) Firefighters Injured in Apparatus Rollover

Three Laredo firefighters were injured Wednesday afternoon when their fire truck rolled over on Mines Road on the way home from a call, reports kgns.com.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The apparatus is housed at Station 13, to which resources are being diverted so as to avoid any service disruptions.

Volterra™ Electric Pumper and Next Generation PUC™ Pump Highlight Pierce’s FDIC International 2022 Display

Pierce Manufacturing Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK) company, kicked off its FDIC 2022 exhibition featuring 14 fire apparatus and the latest product and technology advancements. At the opening of the FDIC 2022 exhibition hall in Indianapolis, Indiana at Lucas Oil Stadium (booth #8807) on Thursday, April 28, Pierce spotlighted the vast scope and significance of the company’s fire apparatus innovations which have propelled the industry forward for years.

Thieves Steal $30k Worth of Extrication Tools from Harmony Valley (UT) Fire District

The Harmony Valley Fire District’s Kolob Station was robbed of $30,000 worth of extrication tools.

Officials say there is a backup set of the tools, which should tide the department over until new funding is available, and they say that there will be no disruptions in service.
