A small fire burned inside Seattle’s iconic Space Needle Friday morning.
X posts from the Seattle Fire Department started at 4:24 a.m., saying there was a fire in a high rise in the 400 block of Broad Street.
The fire broke out in an elevator control room at the top of the Space Needle, according to Seattle Fire spokesperson David Cuerpo.

Paramedics in Spokane have a new tool when it comes to helping people recover after a drug overdose.
When a person is given Narcan and revived from an overdose, they immediately go into a painful withdrawal.
Anne Raven, integrated medical services manager at Spokane Fire Department, says the withdrawal includes symptoms like horrible muscle aches, diarrhea, vomiting, sweating, tearing and runny nose.

A firefighter was taken to the hospital after suffering a medical issue while fighting a house fire Wednesday. First responders performed CPR on him before he was rushed to the hospital.
Neighbors say they saw flames coming from the second floor of an old farmhouse on Scotland Road in Kingston, but the entire home turned into a fireball within minutes.

AT&T’s network went down for many of its customers across the United States Thursday morning, leaving customers unable to place calls, text or access the internet. By late morning, the company said most of its network had been restored.
Although Verizon and T-Mobile customers reported some network outages, too, they appeared far less widespread.

VIDEO: The Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department on Wednesday released an hour-long video showing dozens of firefighters battling a massive fire at the RISE Doro apartment complex downtown.
The $60 million apartment project is now being demolished after it was destroyed when a fire broke out last month.
