Volkswagen is recalling more than 261,000 cars in the U.S. to fix a potential fuel leak that can increase the risk of fires. A small fire burned inside Seattle’s iconic Space Needle Friday morning. X posts from the Seattle Fire Department started at 4:24 a.m., saying there was a fire in a high rise in the 400 block of Broad Street. The fire broke out in an elevator control room at the top of the Space Needle, according to Seattle Fire spokesperson David Cuerpo.

Paramedics in Spokane have a new tool when it comes to helping people recover after a drug overdose. When a person is given Narcan and revived from an overdose, they immediately go into a painful withdrawal. Anne Raven, integrated medical services manager at Spokane Fire Department, says the withdrawal includes symptoms like horrible muscle aches, diarrhea, vomiting, sweating, tearing and runny nose.
