The city of Jacksonville is building a new fire station on the Westside, WOKV.com reported.
A ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday for the official news of the future Fire Station 75 at Wilson Boulevard and Firestone Road, the report said.
Mayor Lenny Curry and Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department will be part of the ceremony, according to the report.
The Jacksonville (FL) Fire Rescue Department opened Station 74 in July. Jacksonville has a Class 1 insurance rating and is the largest department in the world with the top rating, according to the report.
