Joplin (MO) Fire Department Christens Ladder 5

The Joplin Fire Department Wednesday held a push-in ceremony at station 5 for its new Pierce 107’ ladder truck, Ladder 5.

The apparatus replaces a 2010 Pierce 100’ ladder, which moves into reserve status.

Suspect fires multiple rounds, throws incendiary device during standoff in Texas, officials say

VIDEO: A standoff has ended after a suspect opened fire at law enforcement and started a fire at a property in northwest Tarrant County, officials say. Just before 9:30 a.m., the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office says deputies arrived at a home in the 500 block of Indian Creek Road to serve a felony warrant.

First responders look back at Florida's Surfside collapse one year later; K-9 response team supports those affected
