For all that can be said about Kanye West, the guy knows how to make an entrance—and he’s trying to instill that wisdom in his kids, it seems.

The most recent episode of The Kardashians sees West pick up his kids—North (8), Saint (6), Chicago (4), and Psalm (3)—from ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s house in a fire truck he rented.

The kids are happy, and so is dad, as firefighters drive the crew to their destination.

A drunken patient shot a 25-year-old EMT who was caring for him in the back of an ambulance Wednesday evening.

The ambulance, Richmond University Medical Center, responded to a call for a disorderly individual at the Funky Monkey bar at 1205 Forest Ave. in Staten Island at about 7:40 p.m. EMTs loaded the patient, Thomas McCauley, 37, into the back of the ambulance, according to New York police.

As the ambulance was proceeding to Richmond University Medical Center, the EMT was collecting patient information from McCauley when he pulled out a gun and shot the EMT in the shoulder, police said.

The driver of the ambulance stopped the vehicle at 646 Forest Ave. where McCauley fled the vehicle. The driver of the ambulance proceeded to the hospital, where the EMT was treated. He is in stable condition, police said.

A retired police detective and a lieutenant in the sanitation department’s HazMat Division apprehended McCauley and retrieved a .38 caliber handgun believed to be used in the shooting, police said.

Police said they had responded to one prior call for an emotionally disturbed individual that involved McCauley.

The construction of Grand Junction Fire Department Station 3, located at 582 25 1/2 Road, is now complete. GJFD is in the process of moving in furniture and equipment for an official opening May 31st.  The Department will host a hose uncoupling ceremony and unveil exterior and interior station art from local artists that will be shared with the community through local media and Facebook Live at 1:00 PM on Tuesday May 17th.

The new Fire Station 3 will replace the existing station that has been in service since 1975. The new facility has modern safety upgrades which include cancer prevention features found in other GJFD fire stations. In the coming months, the current station’s property will be converted into a parking area for School District 51 and the Kronkright Sports Complex.

Honolulu firefighters are responding to a raging fire Wednesday night in the Campbell Industrial Park area. The blaze was reported around 8:15 p.m. at a structure near Kaomi Loop in Kalaeloa. Witnesses said the fire has been reaching heights of about 100 feet, and the glow from the blaze can be seen from miles away.
