After years of pursuit, the Bradner Fire Department announced that it has received a $1.26 million grant to build a new station, reports 13abc.com.

The current facility, built in 1955, was designed for four trucks, but the department’s current fleet has more than double that amount.

VIDEO: A firefighter in Trenton, New Jersey was wounded by a stray bullet while working out at the firehouse on Tuesday night, officials said. It happened around 8:30 p.m. at Trenton Fire Company 1: Engine 1 on the 400 block of Calhoun Street. Two bullets pierced the back of the firehouse.
