Fire erupts at Florida fire station, investigation underway

A fire broke out at one of the fire stations in West Palm Beach Saturday morning. According to a spokesperson with the West Palm Beach Fire Department (WPBFD), the fire occurred in one of the fire rescue ambulance trucks at around 4:30 a.m. at West Palm Beach Fire Station no. 4. Firefighters were asleep in the station and were alerted to the blaze when the fire alarms went off.

Actor Jeremy Renner returns to thank Nevada first responders who saved his life

PHOTOS: Actor Jeremy Renner surprised first responders and hospital workers with a heartfelt visit to thank them for saving his life one year ago. On Jan. 1, 2023, the 52-year-old actor was trying to get a relative’s car out of a snowbank at Renner’s Lake Tahoe home. While using his 7-ton Pistenbully snow groomer, Renner exited the cab and the snowplow rolled onto him.

Tumwater woman arrested for arson north of Ellensburg

A woman from Tumwater, WA was arrested early Friday morning after lighting a trailer on fire north of Ellensburg, according to the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office. KCSO says a man and a woman allegedly had an argument in a fifth-wheel trailer along Reecer Creek Road which ended in the woman leaving with two bottles of liquor.

Update: Suspect says 'I'm sorry I started the fire' upon arrest after Seattle Buddhist temple goes up in flames

A Buddhist temple in the heart of Seattle went up in flames hours before the New Year and with it, all the history its walls hold. The man who admitted to setting it on fire is in jail being held on $40,000 bail. Investigators say Waylon Williams, 42, admitted to mental struggles and apologized for starting the fire.

Man, three dogs escape house fire in Centralia
