82 year old fire truck in South Carolina steals the show

‘Debt of gratitude:’ Families of fallen first responders attend Disney World retreat

VIDEO: More than 350 families of fallen first responders are taking part in a healing retreat at Walt Disney World Resort. The gathering was part of the Gary Sinise Foundation’s annual Snowball Express event, which has been held since 2018 for families of fallen U.S. military heroes. The expansion to a second week focused on first responders and was one of the largest gatherings of the community to date, organizers said.

City Council Unanimously Approves Appointment of Mike Bailey as Permanent Snoqualmie Fire Chief

On December 11, 2023, the Snoqualmie City Council unanimously approved Mayor Katherine Ross’s appointment of Interim Fire Chief Mike Bailey as the permanent chief of the Snoqualmie Fire Department, effective December 12. Chief Bailey has been a member of the Snoqualmie Fire Dept. for nearly 25 years, previously serving as Deputy Fire Chief for four years, as well as two terms as Interim Fire Chief in 2021 and 2023.

Kennewick Fire Department: Locked out tenant leads to apartment fire

VIDEO: Kennewick fire officials said a cooking fire caused damage to at least three apartments at a complex Tuesday night. It happened at the Copper Ridge Apartments on the 5500 block of West Hildebrand Boulevard. The fire started just after 5 p.m. According to Deputy Fire Chief Michael Heffner, the tenant of the apartment on the third floor of the B building was cooking on the stove.

Dozens impacted after fire at SeaTac apartment building
