Fire Accreditation Dashboard Released as Latest Technology in Fire-Focused Analytics

LAKEVILLE, MINN. [April 19, 2022] – ImageTrend, Inc. is excited to announce the release of the Fire Accreditation Dashboard within the company’s Active Data Monitoring™ solution: ImageTrend Continuum®. As part of Continuum’s Fire Content Package, the Fire Accreditation Dashboard adds tools for monitoring the core metrics of department performance to streamline the accreditation process or evaluation of operations in near-real time.

“Working with our partners in the fire service, we developed the Fire Accreditation Dashboard and the whole Fire Content Package to put the information fire departments need at their fingertips,” commented Neil Olson, Product Manager for Reporting and Analytics at ImageTrend. “Whether your department is actively seeking accreditation, maintaining status or even if you are not pursuing accreditation, having performance metrics available on-the-fly is a huge time-saver and powerful asset for effective fire safety.”

The Fire Accreditation Dashboard delivers maps, incident volume, response times, benchmarks and trends based on live data from ImageTrend Elite™ in addition to the Fire Board Report, Fire Incident Performance and Fire Unit Performance dashboards included in the Fire Content Package. Among the highlights is the ability to receive instant access to essential information, which is performed without requiring the user to sift through data, perform manual calculations or build reports.

“This tool will completely change our use of analytics and significantly impact our ability to achieve accreditation,” mentioned Deputy Chief Zach Lardy, Bernalillo County Fire & Rescue. “We appreciate ImageTrend working hand in hand with those of us in the fire service to deliver functionalities that meet our specific needs.”

Madison Township (OH) to Vote on Fire Levy

Department officials say Madison Township’s fire department needs to replace its aging stations, equipment, and add staff, and voters will decide on May 3 whether to support a 3-mill, five-year levy that will cost the owner of a $100,000 home about $100 more a year, according to a report in journal-news.com.

The levy would generate about $850,000 a year, if passed. If it fails, the township will be forced to cut personnel from its emergency services, the report notes.

Officials say the township used to be served by about 60 volunteer firefighters, but that number has dwindled to around 45, which includes part-time EMS.

Even if it comes to staff reduction, the three stations—Station 152, a former schoolhouse, on Middletown Germantown Road, built in 1850; Station 151, at 4398 Elk Creek Rd., built in 1950; and the life squad at Ohio 122 and Mosiman Road, built in 1999—will need to be replaced.

The last two fire levies in the township passed in 2010 and 1979, the report notes.
